Miya's Hilltop Adventure

I've had many sessions that I said are my favorite - and everyone is for different reasons. But I think Miya's session is going to go down with a piece of my heart.

Now, I know Miya pretty well. I've photographed her siblings and her family and her many times over the past 2 years. But this was the first time we had a session styled specifically for her. I helped her mom choose the dress, ordered special for her (a gorgeous dress ordered from Think Pink Bows c/o Zulily) and designed the session with her personality in mind. Miya is just like most girls - a combination of so many things - adventurous, feminine, she has a style all her own, and a personality just hers.

We went to Kleskun Provincial Park for her session. Miya's mom and I chased her up hills and through fields. She danced and spun and skipped and discovered some pokey grass that she dubbed "little arrows" that had a knack for weaving through the lace of her dress.

I had an incredibly hard time narrowing down my favorites, so you are in for a treat with all the sneak peeks I'm giving you from this session! Her mom is walking away with 108 photos from her session, as she gets the entire gallery. I don't know how she's going to narrow them down for printing!
